At Cedars HOPE, we debuted our first Nutrition and Personal Wellness Course in Fort Wayne – a new version of which, with emphasis on hands-on cooking experience, begins next week. Cedars HOPE is also home to a Lifetime.Education full-service computer lab that residents use both during our Digital Skills Course taught each week and also to practice on their own time.
Visit our site at clinics.lifetime.education and fill out our request form and we’ll schedule a day and time where a Registered Pharmacist will come to your location and administer the flu shots. There is no cost for our services, or the clinic. Vouchers are provided for anybody unable to pay, so nobody will be turned away.

This past Friday, Janeann, a Lifetime.Education Volunteer, instructed the first of the monthly class series called “Coffee & Computers”.
Coffee & Computers is designed to be a more Question & Answer type discussion. The Q & A sessions are accompanied by on-screen presentations and group conversation and, of course, coffee!
Sign-up sheets for each month can be found throughout The Carriage House. If you’d like more information, feel free to e-mail Janeann at email@example.com.
As always, Lifetime.Education is recruiting volunteers! If you’re interested in Volunteering, please give us a call at 260-557-1230 in Fort Wayne or 313-789-0100 in Detroit. If you’ve already read about what we do, and would like to apply, click here to get started!
As many of you know, Lifetime.Education has a wonderful English as a Second Language (ESL) program with Crime Victim Care of Allen County – an agency that serves victims of domestic violence, with an emphasis on immigrant populations.
We are pleased to announce that, in addition to expanding our ESL program, we will begin to offer tutoring in Citizenship for individuals who want to become naturalized citiizens of the United States.
All of this is made possible by you, our community of wonderful volunteers. We thank you so very much for all that you do!
We’d like to give a Monday morning shout out to a volunteer of ours who recently completed a Financial Skills course at Hope House, Inc. and is currently still serving as an ESL tutor with another great partner of ours, Crime Victim Care of Allen County.
Thank you for all that you have done and still do, Erika!
Volunteers, like Erika, through Lifetime.Education, give just 1 hour of each week, but make a huge difference in the lives of others.
