Our end-of-year report.

Homeless Coalition of Fort Wayne is proud to present our end-of-year report we presented to our tutors, volunteers, and students who attended our end-of-year get together.

We’ve blessed with amazing volunteers from all walks of life and are so thankful for the opportunity to live, work, and serve a community as soulful and inclusive as Fort Wayne, Indiana. This city really is a special place.

Lincoln Finance Park, Hope House, 4-15-14

We went to Lincoln Finance Park this evening with our tutor, Dominique, and her Financial Skills students from Hope House.

Lincoln Finance Park is a wonderful learning tool, where people are assigned an identity – complete with career, income, kids, and circumstances as they walk in the door.

All individuals must then make their way from shop to shop – insurance, food, clothing, etc – and learn to live within their means.

IPFW Big Event

The Homeless Coalition of Fort Wayne took 8 volunteers from IPFW for the IPFW Big Event to Project Impact New Life House in downtown for a day of community service and engagement.

IPFW Big Event

The Homeless Coalition of Fort Wayne  will be at Project Impact New Life House this Saturday from 9:30am – 2:30pm with a group of 8 volunteers from Indiana-Purdue University participating in the IPFW Big Event – a day of community service.

The Homeless Coalition of Fort Wayne participated in the IPFW Community Service Fair on 19 November. Below are a few of our photos from the event.
